The total eclipse of the Moon will be visible over Australia and shadowing begins at 7.15pm. Join with members of TRAC to witness this amazing celestial event with telescope viewing of the eclipse and live projections of the Moon on the Club’s indoor and outdoor big screens.
There will also be the opportunity to view the planets Jupiter & Saturn, ‘deep-sky’ celestial objects such as nebulae, star clusters and galaxies through the Club’s telescopes as the sky darkens during the eclipse.
The Tamworth Regional Astronomy Club (TRAC) will be conducting a “Total Eclipse of the Moon” Public Viewing Night on Tuesday 8 Nov 2022, starting 6:00 PM with a BBQ (token prices) at the Astronomy and Science Centre (A&SC) located at Victoria Park (top end of Piper Street) in Tamworth.
