Each participant will make a ceramic totem for the house or garden. This is a great workshop introducing basic hand-building techniques, as well as composition and design.

Wednesday 8 January – Textiles – Eco-Dye with Jodie Herden
Join artist Jodie Herden for a textile class that focuses on eco-dye. Eco-dyeing is a kind of natural dyeing technique that uses leaves, flowers and other plant materials to create patterns and colours on fabric and paper. The process involves bundling plant materials and fabric together, then steaming or boiling the bundle to transfer the colour and patterns from the plants to the fabric.
The result is an unique, one of a kind print thar captures the beauty of nature.
