One of the ultimate events in Australian Dog Agility with dogs and competitors from around Australia vying for placings in the Challenge events. Visitors are invited to come to watch the event – with plenty of dog agility to watch, with 3 rounds being run simultaneously throughout each day!
The sport of Dog Agility is very similar to the sport of Equestrian Jumping in that they are both based on the performance of the sports person or athlete (Handler in dog Agility) and the sporting principle of using their fitness, training skills and experience, and what they consider to be the best strategy on the day, to then direct their team mate (dog) around a series of obstacles in a race against the clock, with the aim to be the fastest without fault.
