The Awards were established in 2000. The coming year will be the 25th year of the Awards.
The Awards were established as a balance to the numerous awards presented in country music in Australia by giving “the people” the right to vote and have a say in who they believe is the best.
Join us for a star studded gala presentation concert with Awards presented to the best artists and musicians in Australian country music, as voted by the people… featuring performances by many of the artists and musicians voted as Awards finalists.
They remain the only mainstream Awards in Australian country music where voters can vote for whoever they like… that is, not being restricted to a pre-determined list of finalists.
