Barraba is a small country race club in Northern NSW, with a dirt track that only races 1 day a year, the last weekend in September annually.
The club was established in 1946 and in that time has only had 4 Presidents and 5 Secretary’s with current President Leon Cummins in role for 18 years and Secretary Shelly Steiger in role for 14 years & have a very dedicated committee of workers.
Race day brings a lot of visitors to the town, the population of Barraba is 1150, with a picnic atmosphere at the racecourse & good racing provide by continued support from owners, trainers & jockeys.
