With Christmas fast approaching, we invite you to visit the Barraba Museum monthly market, where you will find a variety of local and homemade goods just right for Christmas giving.
You will find delicious homemade jams, chutneys, relishes and marmalade, cakes, pure local honey, handmade pottery, garden ornaments, plants, herbs, candles and crystals, talking owls, macrame, and general gift items. The popular Nandewar Historical Society’s calendar for 2024 is now on sale along with locally written historical books and a great variety of s/h fiction and non-fiction books as well as donated household items. Monies raised will help the Society expand the display area for more historical items to be on show to the public.
Morning tea, coffee and biscuits are available all morning in our garden cafe setting. Our ever popular $3.50 BBQ will be cooking up those very tasty locally made sausages all morning. Our local musicians The Edward Street Trio will be back to keep us entertained and our toes tapping.
The museum is open for you to browse and perhaps chat to Margaret our local historian. So why not come and join us for a friendly and relaxed morning.
