We invite you to our monthly market held in the garden of the Barraba Museum, where we are proud to offer a wide array of locally produced goods for sale. From beautifully warm Alpaca and lambswool pet beds, to delightful rag dolls, crocheted toys and wall hangings, to hand made garden pots and ornaments, locally crafted leather stock whips, timber cutting boards, personalised glassware, perfumed candles, crystals, jewelry, macrame, plants ready for autumn planting, homemade cakes, chutneys, jams, relishes, local honey and lots more.
Sit in our garden cafe and enjoy a tea, coffee or cool drink. Try our popular locally made tasty sausages cooking all morning on our BBQ. Meanwhile local Barraba musicians “The Edward Street Trio” will entertain us and keep our toes tapping along with pop- in Jembe drummer Wil.
The Mayor of Tamworth and 2 Councillors are hosting a “Councillor Catchup” on site at 10 am – 11 am
The Nandewar Historical Society has a great range of local history books on sale as well as general pre-loved books and dvd’s.
All proceeds will help fund the expansion of our Museum display area. The Museum will be open all morning with Margaret our local historian on hand to discuss local and family history.
