Barraba Historical Society Markets

The Nandewar Historical Society of Barraba holds a monthly market in the gardens of the historical Museum. 71 Queen Street, Barraba. The stall holders offer a wide range of goods including indoor and outdoor plants, locally made pottery, delicious home made, cakes, jams , relishes and pickles, and local farm fresh honey.

With Mother’s Day coming up we also have a range of jewelry, macrame plus gift-ware and timber item products. The Museum is open with volunteers on hand to discuss and share local history and perhaps help find your missing relatives. The Museum is featuring a collection of Barraba schools photographs, dating back to the 1940’s.

Perhaps you have some old Barraba school photos to share, Meanwhile we have an all-morning barbecue plus tea and coffee to be enjoyed in a cafe style atmosphere, whilst listening to our local musicians’ The Edward Street Trio’. Our “Pop In “Djembe drummer may also be there.

The Historical Society Stall offers a range of pre- loved books and a collection of popular historical books written by our local historian, Margaret.

Don’t forget to enter our easter egg basket raffle drawn on the day.
