The Nandewar Historical Society of Barraba is holding its monthly market a week early to coincide with the “Frost over Barraba ” art festival. We have a great line up of stall holders offering a wide range of goods, from mouth watering home made jams, chutneys, relishes and pickles, local farm fresh honey, to delicious cakes, biscuits and slices. It is never too early to start Christmas shopping with our stalls offering hand made pottery plus indoor and outdoor plants just ready for spring. We have a lovely range of gift ware, glass ware, crystals’ candles, ear rings, jewelry and so much more.
Come and relax and enjoy a tea or coffee in a cafe style setting. Enjoy our tasty locally made sausages at our very popular all morning BBQ. All this whilst being entertained by our talented local musicians ” The Edward Street Trio ” and a possible appearance by Will our pop in Jembe drummer.
The Museum is open all morning with a slide show of Barraba’s past and our local Historian is on hand to chat about your family and local history.
The Historical Society stall has a great range of books for sale, including history books of our local area. Come and join us for a friendly, entertaining morning.
