The Expo will showcase the diverse range of duties performed by police every day in support of our hardworking frontline police.
With 200 jobs in one career there’s something for everyone.
Speak to and interact with these specialist commands:
- Charles Sturt University, promoting the Associate Diploma in Policing Practice
- Dog Unit, dog handler will demonstrate property search, obedience display and general play with dog plus display of NSW Police Dog Unit vehicle (Tiguan).
- Forensic Evidence & Technical Services (FETS), demonstration using mock crime scene
- Local PD police to discuss ‘lived experience’
- Prosecutors
- Recruitment Branch
- Rescue & Bomb Disposal Unit
- Rural Crime Prevention Team
- Shared Services, available to discuss unsworn onboarding, talent pools, assessment centres, specialist roles for Grades 8 and above, and any other information that would assist in recruiting unsworn staff.
- Traffic & Highway Patrol, displaying fully marked HWP vehicle and motorcycle
- Youth Command
- VKG (police radio), demonstrating capabilities
