Campfire Story Time

9 July @ 10:30 am AEST

Free

Join Tamworth Family Support Service, 2 Rivers, and Good Start Early Learning for a heartwarming Campfire Story Time at Tamworth City Library, starting at 10:30 am. This special event, part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations, promises to be a delightful experience for families and children, filled with stories that reflect the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Gather around our indoor ‘campfire’ as skilled storytellers bring to life traditional and contemporary tales that have been passed down through generations. This engaging story time session will not only entertain but also educate young minds about the importance of storytelling in preserving and celebrating Indigenous culture.

We invite families to come together for this memorable morning, where children can listen, learn, and let their imaginations soar. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community, share in the joy of storytelling, and foster a deeper understanding and respect for the diverse cultural narratives that shape our society.
