New England Explorer is a 2 day overnight cycling adventure between Manilla and Bendemeer just outside of Tamworth.
Join us for a great combo of riding outback gravel roads, adventure, camping and the social scene of finishing at the pub.
Short Course – 140km – 2 Days
Saturday – 75km – 1100vm
Sunday – 70km – 740vm
Long Course – 170km – 2 Days
Saturday – 100km – 1500vm
Sunday – 70km – 740vm
Enjoy riding an unloaded bike or haven’t got bike touring/bikepacking bags? Great, we are offering a bag transfer/bag drop for your camping gear & personal items. Allowing you to enjoy the bliss of riding your unloaded bike. (*Conditions apply)
Our ride starts in Manilla and you will enjoy pristine gravel to Bendemeer before enjoying a fun filled evening at the Bendemeer Hotel. Camping is included or you can go luxury and book yourself a room with the Hotel. The next morning we begin with Breakfast at the pub and then ride gravel a different route from Bendemeer back to Manilla. These New England gravel farming roads are so special, mix this with rural towns, country hospitality, and a group ride atmosphere and we have the golden recipe of fun filled adventure!!!
