The Paragliding Cross Country (XC) flying event is where pilots try and fly as far as possible for each of the 8 day event using rising currents of warm air called “thermals”.
By finding these thermals pilots can fly as far as southern Queensland or the Hunter Valley each day!
Spectators are welcome at the Mt Borah launch site to see this spectacular event, the road is okay for 2wds.
