Mark Atkins Performance at Australian Country Music Hall of Fame

Join us at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame as we celebrate NAIDOC Week 2024 ‘Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud.
On Tuesday the 9th of July at 10am join master storyteller and Yamitji, Widi and Wongi man Mark Atkins as he performs at the Museum. Mark will perform with his didgeridoo, alongside two recently acquired didgeridoo’s hand carved by Mark from logs collected in the bush near his home.

Whilst he has performed internationally, Mark most recently performed atop the Sydney Opera House in 2023. In collaboration with James Morrison, the performance marked Remembrance Day, and paid tribute to Indigenous soldiers.
