Join Dr Kathy Jeanes as she leads this Concertina Postcard workshop.
Admired the Concertina Postcards were on exhibit as part of ‘Attunga…Attunga’ in Gallery Two – this is an opportunity to learn how to make your own! In this one-day masterclass, you will get hands-on experience using the concertina paper process to create your own postcard artwork. Learn how to fold and cut paper to create the concertina effect.
Spend time in the studio developing a series of works, or bring along your own postcards or similar artworks, which can be presented in this unique manner.
With each participant taking home a finished concertina postcard artwork, and the knowledge to continue creating at home.
Concertina book styles will also be discussed.
