6 Race Series

The 2024 NIXCS is an XCO inter-club race series that runs across Tamworth, Armidale, Inverell and Copeton. Hosted by Tamworth Mountain Bikers (TAMMTB)/New England Mountain Bikers (NEMTB)/Inverell MTB Club

XCO style format includes a race duration planned according to age group category, including an all-ages Elite option. A recreational option is also available for the less competitive, who wish to participate for the experience but do not wish to be timed.

Round 1 – Sunday 26 May 2024 – NEMTB (SportUNE)
Round 2 – Sunday 16 June 2024 – NEMTB (Piney)
Round 3 – Sunday 7 July 2024 – Inverell
Round 4 – Saturday 10 August 2024 – TAMMTB
Round 5 – Saturday 7 September 2024 – TAMMTB
Round 6 – Saturday 28 September 2024 – Inverell – Copeton

Race categories are as follows:

• Elite male/female
• 19-39 male/female
• 40+ male/female
• 50+ male/female
• U19 male/female
• U17 male/female
• U15 male/female
• E-Bikes male/female
• U13 male/female – shortened loop

Riders need a current AusCycling Race Off-Road licence to compete, otherwise a day licence can be purchased for $35.00 during the online registration process. If you are new to racing you can get apply for a FREE 4 Week Trial Licence – https://auscycling.org.au/membership
