Regional Music Matters is a 3-day program, for musicians starting or wanting to develop within the music industry. Locally targeted and focused to bring vibrancy to the local music scene of the New England North West, hosted by Sound and Soul Music, with CEO Athol Munroe.
Day 1 – Emphasising community and business essentials for musicians. Highlights include a music showcase, legal insights, and a networking mixer.
Sets the foundational tone by emphasising the importance of community, diverse musical expressions, and equipping musicians with essential business knowledge. The Networking Mixer enriches the experience by facilitating connections and providing real-world insights into the music industry.
Day 2 – Focuses on skill development with workshops and a jam session.
Focuses on hands-on skill development through workshops and practical sessions. The inclusion of individual headshot sessions and discussions on online presence aims to equip participants with tools for effective self-presentation. The day concludes with a dynamic Jam Session and Open Mic Night, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities within the community.
Day 3 – Offers entrepreneurial insights through panels, bio writing, and revenue strategies, culminating in a closing ceremony celebrating participant achievements and fostering future collaborations in the music industry.
