Exciting News, Tamworth!
The CWA of NSW is thrilled to announce a series of special community events featuring Samuel Johnson—Gold Logie-winning actor, founder of Love Your Sister, and 2018 Victorian Australian of the Year! 
Join us in Inverell, Glen Innes, and Tamworth this September to hear Samuel speak about his passionate quest to ensure Precision Medicine becomes standard care for all cancer patients, regardless of their location or status.
This cause is incredibly close to the CWA of NSW’s heart, and we’re proud to advocate for equal access to this groundbreaking treatment for all Australians.
If you’re from regional, rural, or remote Australia, you’re nearly 20% more likely to die from cancer. We are working together on this unacceptable inequity. We are all part of the solution, and we can only achieve something so epic if we move together.
Join us on Monday 30th September at the Tamworth Community Centre, Darling Street. Doors open at 5:30pm, event starts at 6:00pm.
These events are FREE and open to everyone! Don’t miss out on the chance to be inspired and to join the conversation on this vital issue.
A collection bucket will be passed around at each event to support Love Your Sister. All donations go directly to funding innovative medical research for Precision Cancer treatments.
