Join us for a delightful children’s workshop where creativity meets nature! In this hands-on session, young artists will learn how to create simple yet amazing art using stencils made from leaves or other natural materials and found objects.

The highlight of the workshop is making sun prints—a fascinating printing technique that uses light-sensitive paper to create stunning silhouette photos without a camera.

Workshop Activities:

• Introduction to Nature Art: Learn about the beauty of using natural materials in art.
• Collecting Materials: Gather leaves, flowers, and other interesting objects from nature to use as stencils.
• Creating Stencils: Arrange your collected materials on light-sensitive paper to design your artwork.
• Sun Printing: Place your stenciled paper in the sun and watch as the light-sensitive paper reacts to create a beautiful silhouette print.
• Final Touches: Enhance your sun prints with additional details and creative elements.

Materials Provided

• Light-sensitive paper
• A variety of leaves, flowers, and natural objects (participants can also bring their own)
• Stencil-making tools and supplies
• Art supplies for adding final touches to the print

Session 1             10.00 – 11.00am      For infants + early primary students

Session 2             11.30 – 1.00pm        For primary students

Session 3             2.00 – 4.00pm     For high school

Cost: Session 1 – $20    Session 2 – $25      Session 3 – $30
