Join Kayleb Waters for a fun and educational art workshop where kids will explore the rich cultural heritage of the Gomeroi people. Kayleb is a leading local artist – having developed a number of murals, installations and large scale artworks.
Using paint and ink pens Kayleb will guide students to develop their own artwork, in doing so, students will learn about the connection the Gomeroi people have with nature and everything around them. They will discover the meanings behind symbols, animals, country, ochres, and various art techniques, understanding that every element tells a story.

Kayleb Waters, A 25-year-old storyteller and Gomeroi man from the Aboriginal community of Walhallow (Caroona Mission), from painting and drawing since primary school he illuminates the cultural landscape of New South Wales with his compelling narratives.

As a cultural mentor at the Gomeroi Culture Academy, he guides students on a transformative journey, instilling a sense of pride and leadership within Aboriginal youth.
