Tamworth Choral Society is continuing their celebration of 75 years of performing in Tamworth, with a collection of music, from the times of slavery in the U.S. This music is full of harmonies, soulful ballads and joyful melodies. Many songs had hidden meaning, and these songs led to freedom, for those brave enough to try to escape the tyranny of their circumstances.
