Everyone is welcome at the Tamworth Historical Society’s July Meeting to hear returning guest speaker Gordon Holding present on The Development of NSW Railways: Part 2 – the Later 19th Century. This talk will discuss train development up to the 1890s, and include the opening of the railway to West Tamworth in 1878. This free event will be held at 7:30pm on Wednesday 17th July at Calala Cottage Museum, and includes a light supper.
