We walk and talk about life’s trials and tribulations taking in the picturesque riverside walk with a sausage sanga afterwards.
WHO IS IT FOR? Everyone in the Tamworth community and region all ages, family, children and visitors are welcome, pets on a lead please. Easy wheelchair and pushchair access.
WHERE? Meet at the yellow Walk ‘n’ Talk banner, set-up on the Bicentennial Park side of Hopscotch ‘Tamworth Regional Playground’ (opposite the big slide), Kable Avenue.
WHAT TO EXPECT? A friendly welcome, free t-shirt for the adults… chat, laughter, meet people and free sausage sizzle after the walk.
Walk, stroll, scoot or bike ride the picturesque ‘Peel River Walk’ starting from the yellow Walk ‘n’ Talk banner up to, and over, the Jewry St bridge crossing and back along the river on the sports fields side to the foot bridge into Bicentennial Park, taking approx. 1 hour at your own pace.
PARKING: Park along Kable Avenue, Bicentennial Park White Street car park or on the south side Gipps St car park.

Walk ‘n’ Talk for Life is an active group of caring people who want to make a difference with mental health and making sure everyone has a safe space outside their own walls in our community.
