See why the Tamworth region is fast becoming a must-visit destination for foodies at the annual Taste Tamworth Festival.  Drawing visitors from across New South Wales, Taste Tamworth is a 10-day celebration of food, wine and produce from across the Tamworth region.

 

Events

Summer Nights – International Cuisine

Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights  – Centrepoint
Until 7:30pm

Head to the CBD for Summer Nights where you can eat-in or take away in our International Food Court until 7.30pm every Thursday through Saturday night!

Le Pruneau Organic Markets

Saturday April 5 – Le Pruneau
8am – 12pm

Fresh, local and organic produce and house made smallgoods, meats, cheeses, meals, soups, pies and cakes available for purchase. 

Craft Shed Markets

Saturday April 5 – Tamworth Craft Shed
9am – 1pm

Discover a delightful array of handmade crafts from talented local artisans.
Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day with kids’ activities, including lucky dips. Enjoy delicious food and drinks available for purchase from our Craft Cafe.

Harmony and High Tea

Saturday April 5 – Chapel Theatre
3pm – 5pm

A beautiful afternoon of string quartet music with cakes, sandwiches, slices, scones and tea.

Local  Producers Degustation Dinner

Saturday April 5 – The Workshop Kitchen
from 6:30pm

Indulge in world class produce grown in the region & presented in an elegant 5 course menu matched with exceptional wines from the region’s only 3 Glass rated wine list in Australia’s Wine List of the Year Awards. Bookings are limited.

Sweet Street

Sunday April 6 – Tamworth CBD
2pm – 5pm
FREE entry for all ages

Sweet Street is the newest addition to the Taste Tamworth Festival, it is a colourful sweet filled afternoon in Fitzroy Street Plaza. Prep your tastebuds for cupcakes, slices, and other delicious treats.

Pizza making sessions

Comfort Food Cabaret

Comfort Food Cabaret is the ultimate tasting experience that’s part musical-comedy-cabaret, cooking class and pop-up supper club! Australia’s singing cook, Michelle Pearson, will serenade audiences as she creates a delicious three-course tasting menu, celebrating local produce and comfort food, accompanied by a live band.

Taste in the Park

Sunday 13 April – Bicentennial Park
10am – 4pm
$2 entry fee at the gate (Kids 12 & under FREE)

Join us in Bicentennial Park this Taste Tamworth Festival! Taste the best local produce, drinks and cuisine that our region has to offer! There will be plenty to keep the kids busy too with lawn games, fun food activities and plenty more.
