The Horton Falls are quite spectacular during wet periods but can dry up over extended dry times. The falls can be viewed from two vantage points and picnic shelters have been erected in the area. Several marked walking tracks are ideal for bushwalking.
Whilst in the area, a drive to the Horton Valley via the Bereen Mountain provides the visitor with a magnificent view of the valley.
The surrounding area is ideal for swimming, photography, and bush camping.
There are picnic and barbecue facilities, bush camping and bushwalks, including a steep and difficult trail almost to the bottom of the gorge (over one hour return).
Group tours can be arranged.
